Service Dog Training: I train your family dog or will match a rescue dog to your specific needs to perform assistance tasks for you. Service dogs can be trained for the most severely impaired with degenerative diseases like MS or for those who are more moderately disabled and struggling with living alone, maintaining a job or raising a family. A service dog is enormously beneficial in acheiving the goal of self-sufficiency.
"I think dogs area the most amazing creatures; they give uncondtional love. For me they are the role model for being alive-Gilda Radner.
Being a parent of a child with autism gave me great insight into the challenges of living and caring for a loved one with a disability. When my son was 7 years old he was bullied at school and pushed down, resulting in two broken wrists, one year later he was diagnosed with having PTSD which today manifests in panic attacks and social anxiety. Today my son has balance challenges and was in a wheelchair for 2 years after surgery due to a neuro muscular disease. Because of these experiences gleaned first hand I am an empathetic trainer both to the person with the disability and to the dog that I am training for that person.
Angelic Canines trains dogs for: Diabetes Alert Service Dogs,
